Macro lens:
A macro lens that has the feature of auto focus allows unmodified close ups. It comes in the ratio 1:1 but some of the manufacturers label the less ratio lenses as macro lenses. A magnification ratio of 1:1 means that when the camera is positioned at the focusing distance, the image that is formed will be of same size. So that is why 1:1 ratio is known as ‘life size’ or ‘standard’. These extension tubes are simply hollow tubes that create distance. You can mount the tube on the lens. The Extension tubes I.e. a light tight tube that fits between the lens and camera mount. It moves your lens further from the camera and further camera closer to subjects. The closer you get focus, the more magnificent is the result.
